I was experimenting with creating hulls from the parts panels of other builds {the Mary Ann}. my wife is an avid collector of M&M memorabilia......after seeing what I was doing, she asked me if this was possible. Ideas popped in my head and I went with it. there are the props, like the umbrellas, soda cans, and records, that come from a craft store's dollhouse dept. but everything else is scratch made.....record player and speakers, lounge chairs, tables......and a bunch of other stuff. the deck is unique as well.....the dance floor is made up of 4 x4mm colored tiles, and the aft cabin roof is shingled in multi colored shingles. the pilot house is very detailed. I took two sets of pictures, because of what my wife wanted me to do. these are the model pictures.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have the Boulogne Etaples kit in the closet......I plan on a multi build......but I have to free up the table first. I'm glad to hear that you got to see this one built. 4 1/2 months of fun....thanks for the good word, my friend!

Now she will be more understanding about leaving a mess overnight once in a while.....maybe?

My favorites are the dance floor, christmas lights and the use of the cocktail umbrellas (at least that's what they look like). Also like the photo on the inside of the wheel house and it looks like you have some charts rolled up in there too. I actually like the M&M guys on there. Makes it very clear what this is about. I think you should send the photos to the M&M Mars company. Maybe they'll commission something for the next ad campaign. I can just imagine the MNM pirate ship. Or maybe another company taking an interest, like a ship flying the "Jolly Rancher" skull and crossed candies... In any case, it's a fine build! Clare
