Are you going to do the masting and rigging or do you plan on installing just dummy bowsprit and lower masts? Must say your build is absolutely GREAT!! Keith. [ Edited Wed Sep 30 2020, 04:19pm ]

As far as rigging her, I already have one that is fully rigged and don't believe I have room for another one like that. She will either be done with dummy mast sir or mast with tops and no higher. Probably will not even put the yards on her and her topmast will be in the lower position, but that is it. That is if I ever get to that place. Am moving like a turtle so that might be a few years off. I always tell the son that he may have to finish her which probably won't happen [ Edited Wed Sep 30 2020, 10:44pm ]

There is a Maritime museum in Savannah Georgia called Ships of the Sea and are full of model's that center around the Revolutionary and civil war and would invite any one that gets a chance to go there and look at those model's. Ever thing from French men of war to ironclads with open sides that you can even find a photo of Abraham Lincoln on one of the wall's inside it. Most of the models were built within 5 years and are a real joy to look. One can spend hours looking at them and never see all the detail that went in to them. Any way they have one model that is up on blocks, in frame and has a scaffolding around it. Very outstanding models that's for sure. One of the first model's you run in to, and I think the scale is 3/8 inch to the foot maybe is of a French ship of the line which you can see some of the framing. I really enjoy going there but has been a few years since then, which I think was 2015. If I can find some of the photos I took I will post a few. Thank's for reminding a old man of that one.
