And of course Master Builder Cricket making sure I'm not missing anything. Problem is....getting parts out of a bag he has claimed. He's VERY possessive...and I have the scars to prove it!

Then again, I often wondered how you could build a hut from large leaves and live in it, but they did (probably still do in places). ![]() It's a really odd cat. Likes water and bubble baths! Lets just say its a race to the bath tub between the our 4-yr old and the cat at bath time. Then its a struggle to keep the cat out of the tub while getting the little one washed. I won't even get into what its like when trying to wash the dishes. ![]()

After a few hectic weeks, finally able to get a little modeling time and made a little more progress. Well, next I will have to work on the sails. The ones that come with the model IMHO are not good at all. Will have to see what I can come up with.

Mine has no details regarding pintles or gudgeons... These must exist don't they... I can't find any info on this... Could you post a pic of what you've done on your very nice build

I'm thinking that whatever held it in place would have been internal, thus the reason you don't see any pintles or gudgeons. Doesn't seem like a lot of thought went into designing this kit in terms of authenticity. ![]() Unfortunately, at the time, my digital camera was on its way out so I didn't keep a detailed photo build log. What you see here on the site is what I have.
