I can't afford the exotic woods and elaborate tools, so I make do with what I have. And it looks like things might get a bit worse -- I'm a retiree of the City of Detroit, which will shortly be under the leadership of an Emergency Manager (read "dictator"), who will undoubtedly be cutting pensions and medical benefits from retirees. The vessel contains so much detail that I think the lifeboats should be detailed as well. This is the first of four identical lifeboats. Detailed instructions for the method I used to build it will be appearing in a forthcoming issue of the MSB Journal. The boat has not yet been rigged to its davits. Gene ![]() | ||
