Lawrence: Could you use a single edged razor blade to separate the frames from the sheet?

Hello Arthur, I thank you for your suggestion, Yes those are a bit thinner so on the straight parts these would work but a lot of the tabs are in the valley's and this would shear off one side that is for sure. I will just have to take it a bit slow to be safe.

You could perhaps try using a cutting disc to trim one end of the razor blade to a point?

Hello Daniel, Yes she is slowly taking shape, Golly but the little fellows are very slow this winter, will have to push just a bit.

HAHA.. Lawrence, your little shipyard workers are a lot faster than mine. I only managed to lay down 2 more planks on my waterline bomb vessel the past couple of days!!

Hello Mike, Golly that may seem true but we all know that you have so much else on the go at the same time. On my YQ-Bluenose build I am approaching the have way mark on the ships frames and have been thinking of taking a little break for a few days and start paint some of that great Oliver Cromwell's cargo that you so very generously sent to me, it sure will make her look a lot nicer with a few filled wholes.

Hello Ship Mates, The little fellows and I have completed the next set of 8 frames that we now have dry fitted into the ships keel. These will have to be tweaked before they are installed into the building jig. We are almost to the half waypoint.
Looks like we will have to take a few days off as all of this char removal and the flaring of the frames have left me with cracked thumps, nothing to worry about that a few days off wont fix.
