Yes, I used a jig for the arched windows, which consisted of two toothpicks set in a small block of wood. I tied a loop of string around the toothpicks, which became the central two vertical slats. The remaining slats were cut from card and glued in place. Finally, the arched frame was glued atop of of this, and then trimmed around the edges after the glued dried. Gene

I'm assuming they're glazed but looking across the hull to the backs of them, it looks as though you've only done the ones on the right so far; but there's no sign of any acrylic on the backs of them. If they're not glazed, how on earth did you get the string to stay in place? In fact, even if they are glazed, how was it done? ![]()

Here's how I made the windows, step by step. It's very tedious, taking about 15 minutes a window. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I hadn't realised that the horizontal (and the two upper, diagonal) glazing bars were card. I thought they were also string, which is why I was wondering how they held their shape. Puzzle glue is something I've not come across so far, but it seems to be readily available. I'll keep it in mind.
