![]() ![]() Registered Member #1923 Joined: Mon Nov 28 2011, 06:07pmPosts: 795 | Ho no it is very accurate The cut trait is 0.05mm and very precise It is the head that need adjustment on most of the machine you can cut from 45dg to 90dg angle. On the Syren the rip are 5mm and the head must be adjust to 90dg precise if the angle is jut 89.5dg you have a distortion that give a slight angle. My older son is a specialist in cutting aero steel with high pressure sand blasting machine They cut up to 3inch of high grade steel with tolerance of a maximum on 0.5mm again the head must be adjust with precision otherwise you have an angle and scrap metal. ![]() | ||

I have to said the Model Shipways did a real good work on it the way they did id is easy and rapid to do I am thinking of doing something on the Säo | ||

Most POB modelers suggest tapering the false keel down on each side starting at the line. I think this shows what I mean better than a lot of words.
