I seem to remember a guy on the French forum (possibly Gerard Delacroix) doing an animated video of a bireme or galley. Maybe you know? Keith.

I was 19 and took a trip to Norway. Saw the Oseberg close up in the Bygdoy museum. love the construction of those Viking ships. The bireme looks like a well-designed POB model-- good wood! Shame about Robin's bulkheads. For plywood I always try to buy what is known as "Baltic Birch". It usually has more plys and no voids than fir stuff. Hope they replace his plywood. Keith.

As I said to you they shoot in all direction plane, tank, ship, RC, SF, figurines, plastic wood even sea shell Look at this http://www.laroyale-modelisme.net/t6701-plateau-de-fruits-de-mer For Robin yes usually (of course except Murphy law) when a kit is produce it pass some inspection to avoid that type of mishap. But there are other factor transports and storage got 7 woods kits in my basement and the humidity/dryness is controlled to avoid problem. It is also important for my paint, brush and plastic kit décalque.
