My Victory was first published here about 17 years ago. I have since made what I call a storyboard diorama out of it. What is a storyboard diorama' simply put it is a diorama that tells a story in a logical sequence. It is titled " DRUMMING DAYBREAK" a ritual that was performed every day at sunrise. All the guns were run out and the horizon searched for enemy ships. A drummer would beat his drum at the Marine's walk and would stop his drumming at sunrise(when you could see a grey goose at a mile), a gun would be fired and the colors raised at the stern.

Well, this is a little embarrassing as I see that I have already a thread from a while go on this subject. I had totally forgotten about it. I am almost 79 now and the memory ain't what it used to be. It is funny though I can still create stuff as I used to but the short term memory has been affected.
My hands and eyes are as good as ever though and for that, I must be grateful.
