Everything went rather smoothly! Tomorrow, I will spray the hull with Dullcoat to seal and protect the decals and weathering on hull. I'm hoping to get the deck (which is just laying on top of hull for picture) installed by next week. I can then start gluing the all of the deck parts and side railings to the ship. last picture shows prop and rudder.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [ Edited Fri Dec 21 2018, 03:54am ]

Sorry I did not take more pictures of putting them together with all of the parts. Only the pilot house and both beacon towers are glued in place.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [ Edited Fri Dec 21 2018, 04:01am ]

It was then that I noticed that, I was so intent on soldering and completing all of the wiring, that I had forgotten to run the wires up through the hole in the hull from the base! Needless to say, it made her day and put a giant smile on her face LOL. After redoing the wiring, we managed to get the deck installed and I gave it a test run in our bathroom to see how the lighting looked. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Now on to adding the rest of the deck parts and the rigging. [ Edited Thu Dec 27 2018, 02:35pm ]
