I start that kit in November 2015 But stop early in December as I start the Royal Louis October 2018 I will now complete that build then finish the RL before starting my next project commission for my lady that I have postponed for the last 5y | ||

![]() ![]() Registered Member #1923 Joined: Mon Nov 28 2011, 06:07pmPosts: 801 | Here ship complete Now the kit It went relatively well Only 2 portion of the kit that did give me a bit of problem The stair at the bow and adjust the balustrade no dimension all the measurement as to be take from the 1:1 drawing and as they must be equal from deck to deck it took time The kit came short on 3 type of wood 1.5x3, 2x2 and 3x3 in sapelli Overall nice kit to build ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Those STEEL cables serve to give strength to the flat hull and avoid a bend and break in the middle It was a nice build to do Robert but as a river boat go they are a lots nicer one on the market at the tine I was in the need of a change and it was not expensive Tanks Tim The stair was not easy to build but the main problem was the PE of the balustrade that did not fit correctly it is a cheap build, fun to do but still a cheap model | ||
