Then the software adds insult to injury, I don't get that option on the top of the thread. Looks like regular members have stuff the main admin doesn't. ![]() Sorry Winston, you'll have to find another excuse, the [Track Thread] option's available for me! (It's not obviously a button though.) I'm just updating the indexes and this topic appears as a new entry - but it doesn't have a name! I'm going to go with 'Cross section prototype' for now but maybe you should have a naming competition!

They might not be as impressive as a full ship but they are a lot better space value and as knowledge how ship was build. A section of a mortar will be a wonderful adds to what is available. Have a lot of sanding to do to remove the excess wood from the chocks. There's four on each single frame and 8 on each double. While I'm at it, I'm also removing a little of the laser char from the frames to help save some time when it comes time to fair the hull. Its a slow process. Probably still have three or four hours work left to do on them. After that it will be time to do some minor cleanup on the frames. I didn't get a perfect fit on all the chocks so I have a few minor little slits where I didn't use enough glue to fill. Little bit of sawdust and diluted glue will take care of that pretty quickly. I suppose I could leave them as they are as they will be covered by planking. BUT, I'd know what was under those planks if I didn't do this. ![]()

Would recommend allowing a little more width of the keel stock parts (1/64-1/32"). They are probably okay as they are, but if I were scratch building, I would have made the keel assembly over again to get a tighter fit. But then I'm pickly like that. ![]() Tonight I will have to study the keel closely. There is a very slight rise in the frames at the stern of the model and will have to notch for those frames accordingly. ![]()
