This one is dedicated to my daughter as she wished that model from her father's hands. ![]() ![]() Registered Member #4876 Joined: Fri Dec 23 2016, 03:37amPosts: 1312 | I wanted to draw that ship up as Plank on frame have that chinese guys plans but I need to figure out how to get the proper shape for that bent wood he uses for the sides so that I can actually get the frames to full length. he shortcuts and uses slabs of woods for the sides above the stations and trying to get the proper warp and bend in cad is hard without dimensions so I may ask you for some dimensions when you get that far. it will basically be the width at the top of the wood slabs at each frame | ||

Thus you could 3-d coordinates at each station to adjust curvature from the top and side views and than you can interpolate all frames along the bulwarks [ Edited Thu Feb 22 2018, 09:21am ] | ||
