As kits are not easily come by in South Africa I have chosen as my first project the "Scottish Maiden" So far this kit seems to be fairly easy to understand. I have managed in 3hrs 8 min to read the instructions a couple of times, remove the false keel and the first 12 frames. They have been dry fitted to ensure that they all work and will be sanded and glued in place tomorrow. I will then attempt to upload pics and will value any practical comments. Thanks guys enjoy your evening / day. it is 11: 23 here now. good night all

I have however started the HMS VICTORY, which was a series build by Agostini. I received the Kit and only discovered that I do not have the full kit. It is no longer available in South Africa and must be imported from the UK. Too expensive so I may complete as a semi scratch build. Dont know yet. I have since shelved the project and gone on to build HMS Unicorn which project I am now busy with. I will seriously find out how to post pics and do so for all three projects' Cheers all, Gary
